On May 10th, 2016, I found out how important it is to have my yearly wellness exams. I had my first mammogram at the age of 36 for what I thought was routine check into a possible cyst. Turns out, I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. What a crazy day that was! Since that day, I have come to understand that by the grace of God, I will win this war. With the love and support from Him, my parents, family and friends, and knowing that my babies need me; I have found the courage and strength I need to become a warrior to defeat this cancer.


So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
