Welcome to my Caring Bridge page! Thank you so much for visiting. If you’re here, you’ve likely already heard about my diagnosis of Breast Cancer. If you haven’t, well here goes - I was recently diagnosed with Stage II Breast Cancer. It is stage II currently due to the size of the tumor. It is what is known as Triple Negative which means that targeted therapy and some of the newer advancements in treatment will not work. I am therefore planning to start chemotherapy and will have surgery thereafter.
Sure, it sucks. I won’t try to lie to you about that. But, with everything in life, I’m already starting to see so much good come out of it. So first of all THANK YOU. THANK YOU for the thoughts, prayers, good vibes, messages of encouragement, and offers to help from everyone who has reached out to either me personally or my family since they’ve heard. I’m only starting to just begin to realize this is for real and just knowing so many people care about me has been so inspiring. Thus, I’m starting this page due to the overwhelming love and support I’ve received and because I figure it would be a good idea to make sure that anyone who was interested in my journey was kept properly updated. So stay tuned and if you can do anything for me, please just keep me laughing.
