It all started about a year ago, when I would get sharp pains in my stomach. Since I deal with IBS, I didn't think too much about it. Just dealt with it. The pains come and go and because I am a woman, I just kept plugging along enjoying my life with my wonderful husband and family and friends. I truly am a blessed lady. Well, last Monday the pains were bad enough that I had my friend take me to the ER. They took blood and urine and I got a CAT scan. Then the Dr came in with the results. All the blood and urinalysis results were great...then he switched to the next sheet and said "now the reason for your pain"... I have a large mass located in the lower abdomen and it is cancerous and therefore needs to come out. I will also need to start chemotherapy. I see my Oncologist this Tuesday and am hoping he puts me in the hospital the same day. I do so want this foreign blob out of me NOW!! I love you all and am asking for your prayers for strength, not only for myself, but for my wonderful husband who will be taking on a lot of the responsibilities in our life's. I will post all the latest news on Caringbridge.org so I don't have to repeat things again and again.
