In early June Preston went to Houston to have his eyes checked. A MRI followed which showed a nickel size spot on the right side of his brain. Obviously, this was a concern to the doctors. After several meetings with the wonderful neurologist at St.Dominics Hospital in Jackson (Dr. Ruth Fredericks) a date was scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor. Dr. Lancon at St. Dominic’s performed the surgery on Tuesday, June 19th, 2018. On Thursday, June 21st, 2018, Dr. Fredericks came and talked to our family to discuss the results of the pathology report. He was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma. He’s going to continue to enjoy life, keep drinking his most expensive wines :), and cherish his time with his family and all of you fine folks. We ask you to pray with us for a miracle for Preston. That the radiation would kill all of the cancer cells and there would be no new growth. Pray for his wife, caregiver, and chauffeur. We love our Poppy and we are thankful that he is ours!
