Elydiah “Liddy” Hampton Prayers for Liddy

This is my precious 6 month old niece, Elydiah better known as “Liddy”.  She is such a blessing to be around.  She is always so happy and smiling. She  has the most beautiful big brown eyes that will melt your heart. On Wednesday, September 12th we received some devastating news about her. We took her to the ER for what we thought was bronchitis that hadn’t cleared up yet from the previous week we were there but we’re told she had an enlarged heart and needed to be taken to Brenner’s Children’s hospital immediately.  So her journey began. Her little heart is very sick. She is experiencing heart failure because her left bottom chamber is only pumping 12% of what it should be.  Being her little heart is having to work so hard and burn so many calories she has started losing weight.  They will be transporting her to Levine Children’s hospital on Tuesday.  They will do further testing to see if they can determine what caused it and what her plan of action will be. She was two options...one she may have to take medicine the rest of her life or two she may have to have a heart transplant. They told us today she has a very high chance of the transplant. We would like everyone to please keep this precious little princess in your prayers, as well as her family. We have a long road ahead of us but we know God can still perform miracles and that’s what she needs. Thanks in advance!
