One evening, after my favorite Spin/soul cycle class, I noticed a small lump on the right side of my neck while showering. Called the Dr. and got in for an appointment right away. Later that day, went for an ultrasound, and this is where I got the first inclination of something serious. They scared me by their reaction to the lump, and knew when the technologist brings in the Radiologist Dr, it's not good. A couple days later, the ENT DR took a biopsy of my tonsil, and a week later it was confirmed 'Invasive Squamous Cell Carcinoma'. Aghh! CANCER! Welcome to our CaringBridge website.
