As most of you know and for others who may not, our sweet friend Peg was diagnosed with a Tubular Invasive Carcinoma in February, 2017. Fortunately, it was detected early and Peg is ready to fight. She is getting a Bilateral Mastectomy on Monday, March 27th. It is expected that she will be in the hospital for ? days. The estimated recovery time is 6 weeks. She will be restricted from driving for the first 2-3 weeks and no heavy lifting throughout the recovery period.
We all know how amazing Rich and Julia are and how much love and support they will provide, but I'm sure all of us would like to help and do something as well. I asked Peg (well, insisted!) if I could set up a meal schedule for them and invite her friends and cheerleaders to sign up. I'm sure there will be other ways to help, but providing an occasional meal will be one less thing they have to worry about during this difficult time.
