Margot Repas Pink Warrior-Princess!

Welcome to Margot's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and dear friends updated in one place. Margot was diagnosed last week with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC) in her right breast (Stage 1, Grade 2). The HER2 protein came back negative (great news!), which means she won't have to do chemo before her surgery.  Margot's being treated at the Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center. Tomorrow (12/17) we will be meeting with her Surgical Oncologist, Dr. Doreen Agnese and the Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Jose Bazan. Tuesday (12/22) we will meet with the Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Steven Schultz.
Margot remains steady, calm, hopeful and grateful that she caught the tumor early. Margot knows that an emotional and physical roller coaster ride is ahead (for both of us), but you know her...she's positive and hopeful that she's going to kick CLEO'S (Margot's cancer's name) butt! As one of Margot's favorite mantra songs says, "Don't worry about a thing... 'Cause every little thing is gonna be all right."
Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We'll keep you in the loop. XO
