Phyllis was seen on Friday for severe pain in her stomach. Thinking it was one of our regular ER visits. It didn't turn out that way. After tons of tests and scans and fluids.. She refused numerous forms of help. With my mom and the doctor... She was placed on hospice. Reasons why...failure to thrive, severe weight loss, kidney failure, COPD, extreme pain in her stomach (caused by a mass in her stomach, malnutrition .... He gave her two weeks to live. She asked to face this journey at my home in Otsego.
