Philip was diagnosed last week with lung cancer. His journey started in Memphis and Paula brought him to Abbeville on Monday. They stayed with David in Nashville on Sunday night. He had a great evening of fun with David and Lisa. Singing with nieces and family made some great memories and a few photos. Lulu is excited about this journey. She is sweet and Philip is her dad and master. They are inseparable. Hospice came by on Tuesday and walked us through several options. Phil opted for a cruise this weekend and then he will see a lung specialist the week of February 4th.
His symptoms are tough at times to watch. He coughs a lot and is clearly in pain. In vintage Phil style, he does complain much and has a great spirit. Please join his friends, brother, and sisters in praying for his comfort and for a divine miracle in healing. We thank you.
