Peyton Young

 We are using Caring Bridge to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. This is Mike, Peyton's dad, I'm going to give just a few basics on what is going on with him as I don't have a lot of time to write this.  We will try to give more updates as time permits.  Peyton is currently in the ICU at St Francis Hospital after a near drowning yesterday afternoon.  We are not sure what happened as Peyton is an excellent swimmer, we are suspecting that he possibly had some sort of a cardiac or even a neurological event that may have caused him to pass out while in the pool but right now we just don't know.  After being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance, he was intubated and sedated and is resting currently.  There have been some good signs of brain activity although we won't know about anything for certain until he wakes up and they can do some more testing.  Your prayers are much appreciated at this very scary time for our family.  Thank you all so much for your love and prayers.
