Peyton will be having a Single Event Multi Level surgery on December 22nd at Gillette Children’s hospital in St.Paul. She will be having a bilateral femoral osteotomy and bilateral distal femoral growth modulation at the knee. Following her surgery we will be at Gillette with her for 4-5 days. Upon her return home she be in a wheelchair and have cast up to her hips with a bar between. Sometime in February we are hopeful Peyton will be up and using a walker. Full recovery will happen sometime between 6 months and a year. Her doctors are hopeful she will recover much sooner!
