Peter was diagnosed with bladder cancer at the end of May 2017. Although we first thought that the cancer would be treatable with a long term prognosis, unfortunately we learned at the end of July that the cancer had spread to his spine and spleen and was considered incurable. Although we hoped that he would be able to survive for at least several more months, the cancer is very aggressive and he is experiencing unbearable pain. Peter along with his family decided to enter early hospice at Gilchrist Center in Towson where he is currently receiving pain management treatment.
