About a year and a half ago Peter was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML), which he was fortunate enough to be able to take oral chemo at home. But about two weeks he came home from work not feeling well, long story short, when to his oncologist where after multiple test they determined the cancer evolved from chronic to acute. As of right now he has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Peter was able to get into The Johns Hopkins Wineburg Cancer Center with a team of wonderful doctors and amazing nurses. He will be on intensive chemotherapy treatment for about a month. We will post updates as often as we can and encourage anyone to post about visits, phone calls, etc. they have with Peter. Thank you!
