Peter Betz Peter's Cancer Journey

Peter was diagnosed 9/23/16 with T3 Esophageal Cancer during an endoscopy procedure as a result of his rapid weight loss and extreme difficulty swallowing (even water).  He went from a very healthy 41 year old without a primary care physician to having a team of specialists working together on his treatment plan.   Peter started his weekly chemo treatments on October 6, along with his daily radiation.  Surgery will be in late December/early January to remove the tumor.
