Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated on Pete's  Cancer Journey  in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  All of this started the end of January when Pete woke up in the night with bad pain in his right side chest , lung area and decided he needed to go to the Dr and get checked out. So we went to the Aspirus Walk in Clinic WI Rapids they took an ex ray which came back showing Cancer in the Right Side Lung and then his Journey Began............  So with this Pete got sent to see another Dr which then set him up with   a CT Scan which then came back confirming Cancer.   At this point we feel as if we are in some kind of a Bad Dream.  After the CT Scan he was then set up with a Biopsy with a Dr Wald from Wausau Aspirus.  Dr Wald decided a Scope Biopsy would be the  best which is through the nose down into the lungs . As he was doing the Biopsy he saw something in the left side airway as well and decided to Biopsy that as a precaution. This  also came back as Cancer as well.  With Cancer being in Both Lungs this made it Stage 4 Cancer~ Dr Wald suggested Pete contact his Work and take time off or even retire if Possible~  Pete did go to his work and has not worked since~  So far it has been a crazy Journey  with many tests, scans and appointments~  This is only the Beginning and will be a long Road~
