On June 4, 2020, Pete was diagnosed with Stage 4 adenocarcinoma (pancreatic cancer), which had spread to his liver. He endured two different chemotherapies at UVA's Emily Couric Cancer Center from July 2020 until may 2021. The most recent CT scan showed the cancer is still progressing, and he has been taken off chemo.

On June 14th, 2021, the journey continues with an immunotherapy clinical trial at John's Hopkins in Baltimore. We're currently working to wrap up the school year and plan our first stay in Baltimore. We will travel back and forth 6 times over 18 weeks, for stays of 3-4 days in length.

Thank you for all of your support. Pete, Logan and I feel all the love and positive energy. Wage Hope!
