Peter went to the hospital on Monday July 3rd feeling odd. Soon after his visit they discovered that he had a tumor in his brain. He was transported by ambulance to Abbott Northwestern Hospital the same day. It was decided that surgery would happen Wednesday July 5th to remove the tumor.  Surgery happened later on we were notified that Pete has Grade 4 Glioblastoma. This is  a very fast growing form of brain cancer. Right now he is in a nursing home, St. Anthony Health Care, working on regaining his speech and strength. His speech has suffered from the tumor, but he still LOVES to talk! He is in good spirits but is very emotional and worried about his family.
