Penny Fisher

Breast cancer has left its ugly mark on my family. My grandma lost her battle at 34. My mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2000. I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in January 2018. Doctors have determined that the cancer hasn't spread to any of my vital organs. I start chemotherapy on Valentine's Day and will continue treatment every week for the next five months. Then, I'll undergo surgery to remove the cancer tumors. I'm a mom to Audrey, 5 and Alec, 3. Alec is living with a rare kidney disorder called Nephrotic Syndrome.

Please keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers. I will need your support as I start my journey, endure the battle and make it successfully to the other side. I know there will be hard days, but I’m prepared to be a fighter, a warrior and ultimately a survivor.

We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting!
