Cancer. The big "C."  I was diagnosed with IT on January 27, 2011. As soon as I saw the swollen lymph node on my neck I knew that it was my turn to enter the war. "IT" is Hodgkin's Lymphoma. In my case, stage 2A with nodular sclerosis.  Before you say it, let me stop you. Hodgkin's is NOT the good cancer or the easy cancer. I've heard that a million times - even from my doctors - and I was stupid hopeful enough to believe them. Yes, Hodgkins has a high cure rate, but it is NOT easy. There - that's settled! Time to take a little trip. Warning, this ain't no vacation. This is a mission. We are the assassins and cancer is the target. Sorry, cancer. You messed with the wrong chick. Time for you to die.
