Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

April 4th 2016

We planned a family weekend at a resort with motor homes to celebrate Mom's 70th Birthday. Unfortunately on the drive to the resort mom took a fall in the motor home hurting her back and hitting her head. The following day she was unsteady on her feet and was not completing all of her sentences, so we decided to take her in to be checked thinking she may have had a concussion. After running some tests, we were informed there was no bleeding in the head, however they had discovered several tumors in her brain. This was obviously devastating to all of us and unexpected news. She spent about a week in the hospital and is now home, and will starting treatment possibly this week. Her phone has deleted all of her contacts, so I am asking all of her friends to please text her and share your contact info in that text so she can be in contact with you. Right now when she receives a message it only shows a number. I'm sure she would love to hear from her friends and family as she needs all the support she can get to fight this!
