Peg Leg, California's Ukulele Empress had a nasty heart attack on Wednesday AM, August 14th. Fortunately she had the where-with-all to dial 911. When the ambulance arrived Neighbor Jill rushed over to help out. A short while later she was admitted to Doctors' Medical Center in Modesto. The next day she underwent a quadruple bypass. After about 4-5 hours in the OR, the medical team took this spunky gal to ICU where she is now recovering. Her family has been standing by her side throughout this ordeal.
