Yay! It’s finally time for my Whipple surgery! The date and time is Thursday, 5/9, 8:30am. Christine, my daughter, will update this site sometime after surgery later that day. I’ll be in the hospital for maybe 7 days. Recovery will be about 6 weeks. As most of you know, I was diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer last fall. I completed chemotherapy on March 26. I’m feeling great! Dan, my amazing family, and friends have been a wonderful support. I’m ready to find out if any cancer is left, and if so to get it out! Spring will be a wonderful time to recover. I am so ready for this! Thank you all for your positive thoughts, prayers, Shiatsu therapy gifts, and love. You got me through the last 8 months and will get me through the next 20 plus years!
