On 9-4-17 our family was dealt some life changing news. We found out our son Paxton has Non Hodgkins T-cell lymphoma. We are still in shock and trying to absorb literally reams of information, but are determined to beat this disease .
Paxton is handling his diagnosis and all the tests as well as can be expected. Lance and I not quite as well, but that's part of being a parent. Blake is very positive about it but I know is also still trying to understand this. We are all determined to beat this and all the love, support and offers to help that we have received from family and friends makes us feel so loved and helps us beyond what words I could ever be able to put on this page. We love you all and are so blessed to have each of you in our lives and along on this journey!
Paxton has a long road in front of him with 6-8months of chemo, followed by 1 year of maintenance chemo. He had a lumbar puncture and a bone marrow biopsy this week that came back negative so we are so thankful for that first bit of good news. His first Chemo was on 9/5/17 went well and today 9/9 he is receiving a second chemo. He will continue to have treatment every Wednesday until October 4th. At that time he will have another lumbar puncture and sample of spinal fluid taken.
