Dad had been feeling sick since sometime in December, 2014. His stomach just wasn't feeling right. At first we thought it was the flu, but as time went on and he was still not getting better, we became concerned. They got in to see the doctor around the end of January. On Feb. 4, 2015, we got the phone call that said it is definitely looking like cancer. More tests confirmed that it is pancreatic cancer that has spread to the liver. It is stage 4. Dad has always been healthy, and at the age of 65 had still been milking on our farm at least once a day. The last time he milked was on Christmas Day.
