Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We so appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement!

In mid January of this year, Paul was involved in a terrible bicycle accident while riding along the Platte River near Denver.  As he was riding he hit a patch of snow and ice that caused his bike to veer off from the path, and he was thrown into a fence suffering a spinal injury that he is now working diligently to recover from.  Through the initial kindness of strangers and friends, he was cared for and transported to Swedish Hospital where he underwent  a cervical spine fusion surgery in an attempt to reduce the injury to his spinal cord.  With the support of family, friends and caring staff at Swedish Hospital, he was able to secure a place at Craig for expert rehabilitation.  Currently Paul is working with his wonderful team at Craig in Denver to regain strength and to begin working toward his recovery.  Paul and his wife Susie appreciate the outpouring of support from family, friends and neighbors.  Please use this website as a way to keep updated on Paul's progress and of course to offer love and encouragement.  Many thanks for your hope and prayers!
