Paul Sturtz

Hi Friends and Family!

This site is for the Sturtz family's amazing community to stay connected and learn how to support Paul and the entire family as they navigate Paul's diagnosis and treatment of Ewing's Sarcoma. In the summer of 2020, Paul began limping off and on and experiencing some minor leg pain at night. After this coming and going for a few months, they took Paul in for an x-ray at CHOA in August, which revealed a tumor in his right leg. Treatment began a week later.

If you're new to the site, Charlotte Marie and Jonathan will keep us updated via the Journal entries below with the latest on Paul's treatment and how we can be praying. If you are looking for ways to help, here are a few tips on how to navigate the site:

- Under "Ways to Help" you will see a Planner, which we will update weekly with needs, including care packages for the kids while Paul undergoes treatment, groceries, and in the future, childcare help if that need arises.
- Also under Ways to Help, you can sign up to drop-off a meal via the Meal Train.
- Under Ways to Help "Support Links" there is a Google Form to opt-in to be included in an ongoing prayer effort and/or for out-of-towners to request a "Pray for Paul" wristband. For locals, feel free to pick up a wristband at the Sturtz home:  1066 Northcliffe Dr. NW
- If you would like to contribute financially to the family, you can make a donation via the Paul Sturtz Family Fund set-up by Kairos Church. This fund will go directly to the Sturtz family as a pass-through fund for medical expenses, childcare, household needs, etc. As a pass-through, gifts are not tax-deductible; however, there are no fees associated with your donation. Under "Support Links," just click "Donate via Kairos Fund" and select "Paul Sturtz Family Fund" from the Fund drop-down menu. Please note that the link "Donate to CaringBridge" above and Tribute Donations do not go to the Sturtz family, they go to CaringBridge in tribute to Paul Sturtz.

We are so glad you're here and know the Sturtzes are grateful for the love and support!
