Paul Soupir

Paul was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma on September 27th.  Thanks to  a SMSU volleyball player Rachel Fink and her aunt Paul was able to get into Rochester Mayo and meet with Dr. Habermann on October 1st.  He had a few of his lymph nodes biopsied  and a bone marrow  aspiration.
The next week we were sent to see an ENT doctor to do a larger collection of tissue from the affected lymph nodes.  Paul was asked to return the next week for more testing, another lymph node biopsy, and bone marrow aspiration.   On October 23rd he began his chemo treatment at the Mayo clinic.  He is to remain in  Rochester for the next four months being treated as an inpatient  as well as other days as an outpatient.
