Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  Paul has recently been admitted to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.  In less than a 24 hour time period he became quite weak and unable to transfer himself from his chair.  Luckily he already had appointments with his specialists scheduled on Thursday.  On Friday he had another blood draw and he was requested to return to the clinic to be admitted.  Since then he has been quite weak and in much pain.  He underwent a bone marrow biopsy later Friday afternoon and another CT scan.  We will not know the results of the the biopsy until the beginning of next week.  As of right now the CT scan is showing some bleeding on his brain.  Doctors are hopeful that the biopsy will come back good and we will be able to figure out a treatment plan that will help provide us with more time.  Paul is currently receiving medication to help control the pain as well as to raise his platelets  to a normal range.
