Paul went in for routine but emergency surgery on April 19th. Unfortunately the surgery was unsuccessful and he developed complications that led to several more procedures and finally sepsis. He continued to get worse and went into septic shock and a coagulation issue called DIC. Once this happened he went into mass hemorrhaging and multi-organ failure. He is now in the surgical intensive care unit at Vanderbilt Medical Center after being life flighted on Sunday May 1st. We will continue to follow his journey with future posts. Paul is tough and we believe he can defy the odds and recover. However, we welcome all the prayers because we believe God has brought him this far and listens to our prayerss. Thank you
