If you don't know my dad, there's not a more generous guy. He would literally run across the street to give you *both* the shirts off his back (his jacket and socks too, if you needed it). His heart is particularly warmed by children and teenagers. He channeled that love through years of devotion as a science teacher, drivers education instructor, Sunday school teacher and youth counselor, and school administrator. He has an offbeat sense of humor and a passion for a variety of music styles. Caravan coffee makes his day, as do his annual high school beach reunions and time spent with his grandsons. His faith in His God is unwavering.
After a great dinner with friends, Dad entered the ER with chest tightness. The next day, a cardiac catheterization revealed several significant arterial blockages and compromised heart function. We appreciate those generous, loving friends who walk with us as we seek to find restored strength and easier breathing for Dad.
