Paul Kutsche

Welcome to our CaringBridge site.  My father,  Paul Kutsche, started in-home hospice care on March 27.  He has metastatic prostate cancer, and has decided, at 90, to forgo further treatment.  His nephew Bob McArdle lives upstairs and is helping him.  Dad also has a capable care-giver coming in a couple of times a week.

Brian, Brigid, and I had a good visit with Dad at the beginning of April.  I plan to return to Michigan towards the end of April, or sooner if needed.

Dad enjoys phone calls and visits in person.  He loves the attention.  Please call before you drop by.  Dad isn't eating much.  He is weak and he tires quickly.  His mind is still quite good, although his memory is getting a little fuzzy for recent events.

I hope to use this site to keep Dad's large network of family and friends informed as his illness progresses.  Thank you for your love and support.
