As most of you know. Paul  was admitted to the mayo Clinic in Jacksonville on March 29th after having an appointment with the cardiologist from the congestive heart failure/transplant unit.
Effective 4/12/18 ,he was officially placed on the active heart transplant list at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. FL. His status is a 1A which requires him to remain in the hospital until a donor heart of the right size, blood type etc. becomes available.  There is no way of knowing how long the wait will be, but we are in a wonderful facility with outstanding, caring doctors and staff.  The goal is to keep him comfortable, maintain his strength, keep him occupied and in good health in preparation to receive his new heart when it becomes available,
We'll try to keep this web site up to date and and active.  Feel free to write comments, questions etc. back and forth and hopefully will be little more efficient than numerous e-mals etc.  He does miss his friends and golf buddies and am sure he would enjoy hearing all of you.
