Paul Grossman

Hello Family & Friends,  


We have started this CaringBridge website to share information about Paul's recovery from his motor scooter accident Saturday, Feb 9th. He hit a curb at his winter home in Fort Myers Beach (FMB) while merging onto the main road and went down hard. He sustained 5 broken ribs and a damaged liver in the accident. He is currently in ICU at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers and will be there until he stabilizes medically. He will then transfer to a hospital room for further observation and recovery.  He is experiencing the ups and downs of pain management with the trauma of the accident, and the road to recovery will be, unlike Paul's usual life pace, slow. But, Sue is at his side, and with family and friends showing their love and support, and the promise of a return to the aisles of Costco, hopefully not too far off in the distance, recover he will!


He is still in the acute recovery phase, and he and Sue aren't ready for visitors yet. Please send your well wishes via this website or through the Lee Memorial website, which can deliver electronic get well cards to Paul.


We will update this website with changes in Paul's medical status, and let you know here about anything that he and Sue might need help with in the future.
