Paul DeLeeuw

When DeLeeuw's father was a child, he escaped Nazi Europe and went on to become a doctor at the age of 62. By doing what his father did, DeLeeuw hopes to show that he cares about education and service by meeting the needs of his community. Paul DeLeeuw started out as an anesthesiologist at Cedars Medical Center in 1978, and he went on to become a doctor. As time went on, he became the Chief of Anesthesia at Cedars and stayed in that job until 2002. Then, after working at Cedar, Dr. DeLeeuw became the Director of Anesthesia Services at Riverwalk Surgery Center. There, he led nurse anesthetists and ran the anesthesia department, which was run by him. As an anesthesiologist, Dr. DeLeeuw could not work for long because of a shoulder injury. He went on to work as a weight loss doctor. Doctor DeLeeuw worked for Bariatric Physicians Inc. as a bariatric doctor in 2008. For Medi Weightloss Clinics, he also worked as a bariatrist in 2009. He currently sees people who want to lose weight in Orlando, Boca Raton, and Sarasota in Florida. It was in 1991 when Dr. Paul DeLeeuw married the oldest daughter of Willard Kempton, a well-known philosopher and linguist who ran the Aid to France program after the war and was a well-known philosopher. The two children we raised together are Joseph, who is now an ethicist and programmer in Brooklyn, New York; and Halley, who has had a seizure disorder since the age of 2. Dr. DeLeeuw spent a lot of time raising, teaching, and treating Halley, even though he worked full time as an anesthesiologist. Now, Halley is the director of business intelligence for the state of Florida, and she does that job very well!
