As many of you know, last summer our family moved to Colorado Springs but Paul opted to move to Northern Virginia and finish out his high school senior year at Trinity School at Meadow View. Paul has been living with his aunt and uncle there. Paul was a healthy boy playing basketball and running cross country until mid March when he started to not feel well. After many tests he's been diagnosed with AML Leukemia. I am currently in Northern Virginia with Paul, and John will be coming shortly for a visit.
Paul will begin a 21 day cycle of chemo therapy in the Pediatric Oncology department at INOVA in Fairfax, Virginia. We face a long road of treatment for this diagnosis and once Paul is stable, our hopes are to move him to Colorado to be with the rest of the family.
Please pray for healing, peace, that the treatment would be successful and for wisdom for the doctors. Also, please pray for our family and that the Lord be glorified through this trial.
