I have been feeling tired, itchy and coughing for a year to two years now depending on the symptom. I would go to the doctor and they would continue to give me different antibiotics and steroids for it and none of them would work. I was about to give up and just see if the cough would go away on its own but I kept getting pushed by my girlfriend (Carrie 'Marchiafava' Hachey) to continue going to get answers.

After numerous CT Scans, three biopsies, many blood draws, a bone scan and a PETscan and never an answer as to what is going on, Thursday October 17th, I finally got an answer. I have been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, cancer. It was really not something that you want to hear and I am still not believing it myself, but I finally got an answer and now it is time to move on.

I will have six months of chemo every two weeks. It is going to be a long fight as the chemotherapy that I will be receiving is very aggressive cause they found it in three different places.

I am so thankful that Carrie kept pushing me and has been there by my side all along the way. She started going to my doctor appointments and all my biopsies, asking the right questions for me, when I just couldn't even think straight. She is a strong person and will be by my side through all of this and I cannot thank her enough for everything she does for me. Love you Carrie!

Like I said, it is going to be a long hard fight and if you believe in prayer or good vibes or anything else, I could use it right now and through the journey ahead of me.

Thanks,
Paul
