Welcome to Paula's story.  On February 14th Chas and I forced mom to go to urgent care for ongoing medical concerns.  We all knew it was breast cancer.  What we didn't know on that Valentines Day  evening was that the cancer had taken over her body.  I don't think any of us were prepared to hear that the cancer had invaded ten parts of her body, had caused at least three fractures, or that it was terminal.  That word hit us all hard.  In under a month we have gone through several medical procedures and started chemo.  Mom is on the lowest dose possible because her body can't handle more.  The cancer is aggressive and fast spreading.  I have watched my mom have good days where I think she will have no problem making it to the long term mark of 2 years and there have been days where I wondered if she would make it to the minimum 2 month mark.  It has been painful for all of us.  Plain and simple- cancer sucks.  This site will be used to coordinate those who wish to help.  I know many from there church are helping with food and with other things and this will be the site we can get that information out to them.  We will not be doing any fundraising through the Go Fund Me links on this page-so please DO NOT look for that.  I will try to update this as I can.  My primary focus will be on the Facebook group to spread updates, and this will be primarily for coordinating help.  Thank you all for your prayers and messages.  We read everyone to mom.  I can't thank you all enough for the love and support.
