Patty’s Story:
On Wednesday, April 10, 2019 around 8pm Patty arrived home from work.  Gary tried to communicate with her a few times with no response, and then Patty just went about her normal routine.  She made the bed perfectly and ran a load of laundry. Gary waited patiently for her to join him with her supper in their den/TV room. When she did not arrive like she normally would he went to go look for her and found her at the bottom of the back stairway by the back door. At that point Gary called 911 and emergency services took her to Neillsville and then transferred to Marshfield MCCU.  The current update is that she has had two CT scans (one in Neillsville and one in Marshfield) and an MRI (Marshfield) that all showed the same results that she has a brain bleed that caused a stroke.  This brain bleed has effected movement on her right side and her speech.

After medical and medicinal interventions it was decided on April 20, 2019 that palliative care would be best as the swelling on her brain was too much.  With great sadness she went onto eternal life that evening.  Thank you for sharing along in this journey. Please look for continued family updates.
