Thank you for visiting the information page for Patty Reilly.  She has touched so many lives; no doubt you are here because at one time she touched yours.

The end of 2016 provided our family with some very unfortunate news.  Mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor- a stage 4 Glioma, located in her left frontal lobe.  This is a very aggressive type of tumor; likely infiltrated into other areas of the brain and therefore difficult to completely remove with surgery.  To stop the tumor’s momentum, surgical removal is recommended.  From there, the tumor tissue can be analyzed by a pathologist and if available, appropriate effective chemotherapy or radiation will be prescribed.

After surgery, Mom will go to the ICU, the general floor, and then likely a skilled rehab facility.     Beyond that, the path is unclear.

Her surgery is Wednesday, January 4th, 2017.  We plan to provide updates on this site as they become available.

Prayer, meditation and other warm energies are gladly welcomed at this point.  These will be needed and valuable to her recovery.

In regards to flowers, cards, food, etc…right now we ask for just your patience and prayers.  Mom is in great hands!  You are welcome to send a well wish via Caring Bridge or postal mail.  Patty is busy preparing for surgery and is unable to take visitors at this time.  She has also requested no phone calls.  The time will come for visitors and we will surely let you know when it does.

Thank you for your loving care and thoughtful prayers for our Mom.
