On Monday, November 14th, 2017 Patty was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has Invasive ductal carcinoma (fairly common, about 84% of breast cancers) with inflammatory features ( only 5% of breast cancers, and aggressive).
Her treatment plan is to begin 20 weeks of chemotherapy ASAP, followed by surgery, followed by proton radiation.
