Patti was diagnosed with a "mass in the brain" in March of this year, 2018. Since then, more and more tumors have been found in different parts of her brain. Not a good sign! So, she has progressed from taking steroids to shrink the one tumor to gamma knife radiation, to now, soon, starting chemo therapy being administered directly to the brain. Part of the side effects from the steroids have been an extreme exhaustion, so Patti has decided that having a Caring Bridge site might be the best and most efficient way to keep loving friends and family informed -- and put her limited energy to good use.
