12/6/16   -- no need to donate to CaringBridge, but thank you all for the tributes.
If you're here, you probably know that Patsy was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer in November 2016.

You may also know her as the most wonderful and also the most stubborn person in the world -- or maybe that's just my view as her daughter. Her stubborn streak is helpful when it comes to conquering malignancies, and she's prepared to put up a fight. She was in the best shape of her life prior to this diagnosis, went to two well check-ups a year (including one in mid-October that showed nothing wrong) and was asymptomatic until last month. I'm amazed she even went to the doctor for the small symptoms she did develop - a slight nausea and abdominal pain.

updated 08/21/18 -- Patsy's husband, Kenny, has been receiving radiation and chemotherapy for a large sinus malignancy that has spread to his eye-bone, nose and mouth. We didn't want to take over Mom's CaringBridge site, so there is also a MealTrain site for both of them: https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/m8q29l that has his updates
