On Friday, May 22, 2020 Patrick was taken to the ER for severe lower back pain that was radiating down both legs. They did numerous tests and believed it was a form of Leukemia. Tuesday, May 26, 2020 he had biopsies of a lymph node and bone marrow, which confirmed he has B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Patrick is 18 and graduates June 6, 2020 from GCISD Collegiate Academy with his high school diploma. He is in the top ten of his class. He was UIlL president and an officer in the National Honor Society.
Patrick also graduated this May from Tarrant County College with his Associate of Arts degree. He was inducted as a member of of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He was accepted to Texas A&M in College Station in the School of Engineering.
Patrick is a 3rd degree Decided Blackbelt at Reveal Martial arts in Southlake. He is also an Instructor with them.
