As some of you may have heard, over the past few weeks Patrick has experienced some serious health symptoms. This weekend, a CT exam revealed a preliminary
diagnosis of cancer. Although tests and biopsies are pending, the cancer seems to be in 2 organs - the lower esophagus and liver. Naturally we are devastated but trying to be very optimistic. Patrick feels strong and is receiving excellent care at Northwestern Hospital. For now, we will share this with our close friends and family and we ask for your continued love, prayers and support.
Patrick is his normal good-natured self, however, he is understandably overwhelmed by this news and asks that you use this site to pass your well-wishes , messages and love rather than contacting his cell phone directly. Thank you for the understanding!
We will be posting updates on this site as new information comes in. We are so incredibly grateful for everyone who has reached out to us. We are in the process of trying to secure the best treatment and treatment plan for Patrick. We promise to keep you posted. Once we have a better idea of how we will be moving forward, I promise that we will reach out and let you know how you can help us! For now, please feel free to post words of encouragement on this site. I promise you we will be reading every single one. We love you all.
