For those wondering what exactly is going on with Pat: He has stage 4 Glioblastoma brain cancer. After 2 brain surgeries, he is now home going through Chemo, radiation, PT and OT. Through all of this he continues to be strong, courageous, keeping a positive attitude, and his strong faith in God. God has used this difficult time to bring his loving family together  to stay with Pat so he can be home during his treatments.  This is possible  due to not only his family but also with the support of many friends and his work family.

                                            If you know Pat, he’s the first to lend a hand, kind word, offer his time in sacrifice of his own needs. He’ll share a bourbon, beer, cigar, meal or prayer with anyone and everyone. Over the past few months, he’s talked about two big things, being a part of his “team” through this journey and feeling the love and prayers being sent to him and “filling his buckets”. 
The time has come for his team of family, friends and faith to pitch in and help him out. He’d never ask for it himself, so his brothers and sisters are here, asking for you to help however much you can. The road ahead is sure to have rough patches throughout the recovery and rehab. It also includes medical bills, utilities, mortgage payments, remodeling to accommodate his condition and the unforeseen. 
His resolve and his faith couldn’t be greater (or his appetite!) and easing this burden to concentrate on his recovery will be such a wonderful gesture. 
He has two big phrases he has repeated over and over lately resonate to all of us: · I’m not going backwards. 
· I’m going to beat this.
