Hi, my name is Patty Rogers. I am almost 17 years old. I was diagnosed with rare form of childhood cancer called neurobastoma a week after my 12th birthday. I've had three surgeries to remove tumors, 64 rounds of chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, proton radiation therapy, experimental I-131 MIBG therapy, experimental immunotherapy (one round), another experimental therapy (less than one dose), one round of antibody therapy, a radiation treatment for a tumor in my left femur, and other courses of chemotherapy. I went into remission last March, but have relapsed. I'll be starting treatment again soon. I am very grateful for all the prayers and support from my friends and family. I am LIVING WITH cancer, not dying from it!
