Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support positive, encouraging thoughts about Pat.  She was quite a Lady and we would love to hear any short stories or thoughts you have.   Patricia, aka Patty, aka Pat, turned 80 on December 29th 2021.  The prior two years (just before the Pandemic) have been pretty rough for Pat.  She had a heart event in fall 2019, triple bi-pass surgery, then another heart event in December 2019 which resulted with a great outcome for her heart but suffered a stroke.  The stroke left her with significant aphasia.  This left her pretty homebound due to no more driving.  February of 2022 she had another stroke which caused 70% loss of movement on her Right side.  Most recently on may 11th she had a bad seizure and thy found a mass in her brain that was inoperable without significant loss of speech and mobility.  Pat decided to go with comfort  care as she is done with Hospitals.

This is Page is dedicated to an incredible lady that made a impact on many lives.  She was a force to reckon with and she is still a spitfire!  She loved people and would always say "where there is life there is hope ! that's what my grandma taught me."  So please join me, our family and all of Pat's friends and loved ones to Celebrate the amazing journey of this woman from the small town of Blooming Prairie to the tough streets of South Minneapolis' East lake Street 's and 3rd precinct. She was often called "The Mother Theresa of the South Side" because of the loving, and caring  generosity she shared with all.  Throw in a dash of silliness,  laughter, and maybe a harsh word or two depending on the situation 😊. If you knew Pat you know what I am talking about.... 😊😊😊😊
Thank you for visiting and please let us know you visited,
