As many of you know, my mothers health has been declining over the past several years.  In September, we moved her into a memory care center in Lansdale, PA.  Recently, her health has taken a turn for the worse.  She isn't eating as well as she should, she's fallen a bit too often with trips to the ER and has lost a significant amount of weight.  The facility has suggested that she get hospice care to supplement the care she's receiving at the facility.  I know hospice is a scary word but her death is not imminent.  She probably has 6 months to live.  She's doing well although she is non verbal.  If you'd like to visit her, please do.  She won't be able to communicate but I know she would appreciate it.  If you have any questions, please let me know and I will do my best to answer them.
