Hello, my name is Patricia. I am a 60 yr. old woman. Unfortunaely i have quite a few serious medical issues. I fell on 12-17-18 and broke my left foot in 4 places and hit my head on the wall which caused it to bleed, also the hit was so hard it caused my brain to shift, also had hematoma. I was unconscious so they did an emergency brain surgery on me in the process they accidentally severed a muscle inside my head which controled my facial movements of my jaws, cheeks, chin, lips, eyes, gums, tounge, throat and parts of my head and neck. i have constant numbing and pain in all these parts. Its very hard to deal with the pain and swelling. I also have a problem with my speech now from it.I am suppose to eat mechanical soft processed foods because of my problem swallowing but I cannot afford the food i need nor a mechanical soft food processor. I have many appointments with other doctors stemming from this cut muscle issue but it cost alot of money for the transportation back and forth to all these appointments. On 8-7-19 I just had heart surgery preformed to place what is called a watchman into a hole in my atrium unfortunately the watchman piece did not fit the hole it was too small th e y tried two different sizes and they did not fit, so they had to pull them back out and close me up in which they put in a stich that was too tight that caused it to bleed profusely for 11 hours the nurses and doctors had to take turns in holding pressure on the bleeding wound which was sooo painful i was crying and screaming i could not help myself it was sooo painful. finally 11 hours later the doctor decides to cut the stiche then low and behold the pain and bleeding were lessened. i dont know why it took so long for him to cut the stiche...but at least it was finally done. i just got back home yesterday i am in alot of pain but grateful to be alive. they dont know what to do now i have a pace maker, i' ve had open heart surgery in 1999, now i have atrial fribullation and my heart beats way to fast, i had a stroke two weeks ago. and i cant be on blood thinners to ward off blood clots because if i am on blood thinners i could very well bleed out in my brain, so i cant take them. i have no idea whats going to happen to me and when. also unfortunately i have no funds to support myself with and i surely cant work right now...that is why i am on www.gofundme.org and i have a facebook fundraiser but there not getting much on funds which i truly need very badly to afford to do needed basic functions in life...like pay to have my place cleaned because i cannot do it for now, to buy my foods i mentioned earlier, for transportion to doctors appts. and store runs. and for life necessities. i really feel kinda wrong for asking people to donate to my cause but i dont know what else to do. well i suppose that is enough of my story for now. thank you for taking the time to read it and th hank y ou for your donations if you do so. may God bless you. Peace and Love, Patricia Canfield.
